On their website AnchorFree is promoting Hotspot Shield 1.10, but when one downloads it shows up as 1.13. I contacted Hotspot shield almost 2 weeks ago and have not received a reply. and as, noted in the reviews, the connection will drop without notice.Īs others have stated, this product 1.12 and 1.13 has a trojan horse. However, this last version triggered an AdAware highest level alert for a keystroke logger trojan. It's the only free service that worked with Hulu from Canada - UltraSurf does not. Summary: I found it very useful and was willing to put up with ads which can be clicked off.
